I am a painter. I studied art in Düsseldorf and live a relatively unspectacular life. My paintings are the core of my artistic work. Drawing my short stories, on the other hand, is a way of implementing my ideas in a playful and humorous way.

My picture stories come to me in very different ways during an everyday observation: through a funny situation, a conversation, a cue or newspaper article.
The chosen form of pictorial implementation forces me to describe a situation briefly and succinctly.
My little animals are always eager to slip into roles and it gives me great pleasure to participate in their parallel existence.
